just a side note. On my Pilates class here in Hungary, I tried to ask a client to do the Introductory exercise for the 跨虎式 (KUÀ HǓ SHÌ) TIGER STEP . Use the force of the step without moving.

The client has some problem with her ankles. (She is running too much on the outer angle of the feet and

she is always  turning outside the feet too much)

So I asked the client to use the 走跨虎 force, pushing down and pulling back the footpad

of the back foot while standing.
(As You told the student on Saturday).
When she found out these forces, her foot turned to the correct forward

direction so the structure improved.

It is just an example but still have a hint for me, using the right force at the root might help to correct bad habits.
Also it can be just a coincidence 🙂
